Welcome to River Rd Vet Clinic. Gympie's newest dedicated small animal veterinary clinic. We pride ourselves on providing our patients with caring and professional service. We believe that every furry family member deserves compassionate care in a warm and welcoming environment. Founded by a passionate husband and wife team with years of experience, our boutique clinic provides personalised attention and tailored medical services for your beloved pets.
Located in the heart of Gympie, our independently owned clinic offers a modern, welcoming and stress-free atmosphere for both pets and pet parents. Our team understands the special bond you share with your furry family members, and we’re committed to ensuring their health and happiness through our care and expert veterinary services.
Our space
Our clinic was designed to incorporate a modern, functional feel but most importantly a sense of calmness for our patients. We have separate dedicated cat and dog waiting areas plus an outdoor dog waiting space for those dogs who feel a bit anxious upon entering a clinic. We can also perform consultations and examinations in this outdoor space to help minimise those doggy nerves.
Inside we also have a dedicated cat only consultation room as well as two dog only consultation rooms.
Inside the hospital again we have separate cat and dog wards as well as all the features you would expect from a modern veterinary clinic including a dedicated surgical suite, laboratory suite, imaging room with x-rays and ultrasound plus a recovery ward. See below for a quick tour.
